SOS International LLC Computer Network Defense Senior SME in Fort Huachuca, Arizona

Overview

This position is contingent upon award of contract

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a Computer Network Defense Senior Subject Matter Expert at Fort Huachuca, AZ . The Computer Network Defense Senior SME reports to the WAN Branch Manager and monitors WAN network critical infrastructure assets and circuits for the WAN Team.

Essential Job Duties

  • Responsible for the acquisition, installation, maintenance and usage of the company’s local area network.

  • Studies contractor products to determine those which best meet company needs

  • Assists in presentation of information to management resulting in purchase and installation of hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment.

  • Manages network performance and maintains network security.

  • Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced.

  • Installs all network software.

  • Evaluates, develops and maintains telecommunications systems.

  • Troubleshoots network problems.

  • Establishes and implements network policies, procedures and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems and company’s objectives.

  • Trains users on network operation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.

  • MA/MS +10 -OR- BA/BS +12 years of experience similar in size, scope, and complexity.

  • Must meet DoD 8140 DCWF 451 requirements (B.S., CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, CCNA, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT, GCED, or GCIH)

  • ITIL v3 or higher certification w/in 90 days of contract start date or hire.

  • Knowledgeable in the mission and operational requirements of the U.S. Army

  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements and an advanced understanding of U.S. Army IT applications and network systems

  • Expertise in complex information systems architectures involving multiple disparate databases, networks, and communications subsystems

  • Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary

  • Knowledge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Cisco Internetworking Devices.

  • Knowledge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Juniper Internetworking Devices.

  • Knowledge of Standard Routing Protocols, i.e. EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, etc.

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP ports, protocols, and subnetting.

  • Network fundamentals.

  • Network services such as: DNS, DHCP, NTP, and LDAP.

  • Cybersecurity fundamentals.

  • IT Industry terminology.

  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving techniques.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Network Management, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, or a related field

  • ITIL 4 Certification

  • Detailed understanding of the Army Unified Network Plans
