    Current Opening:

    We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to work out of any of our five offices, Fort Dodge, Ames, Tiffin, Waterloo or Spencer. The Coordinator will be responsible for completing business development and sales tasks including but not limited to assisting with business development programs and strategies and following up on leads through various channels including Salesforce. The Coordinator will assist with the development and implementation of effective new customer acquisition campaigns as well as partnering with our Business Development team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to customers and potential customers. The position will also help coordinate marketing and public relations events for Woodruff.

    Business Development

  • Assist with the development and implementation of effective new customer acquisition campaigns using various marketing channels including, direct mail, cold calls and event marketing.

  • Assist with the implementation of programs and systems to support existing and also develop new strategic direction.

  • Contact architects and engineers and others as need for project leads and document in Salesforce for East, Northeast and Central

  • Ensures Salesforce documentation and reports are up to date for all regions

  • Report regularly on status of sales efforts and leads

  • Maintain accurate, current database(s) of contacts and leads

  • Manage Google Ads platform

    Client Relations

  • Partners with the Business Development team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to customers/potential customers.

    Networking

  • Promote company values in the community

  • Help coordinate marketing and Public Relations events for Woodruff

  • Coordinate and attend trade shows

    Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, related field or equivalent experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

  • Ability to maintain confidential information

  • Good time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Work well in an office team environment

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction
