JOB REQUIREMENTS: The role will develop, implement and sustain staff ad all systems necessary to assure the delivery of products and services that will satisfy customer requirements while maintaining all quality and regulatory requirements and guidelines. Manages and coordinates QMS and Food Safety compliance. The Quality Assurance Manager acts as a technical resource to internal and external parties relating to all aspects of the QMS, and government funded programs including SourceAmerica. Keep abreast of all regulatory issues dealing with food safety and ensure requirements of HACCP and other relevant standards are effectively communicated to the management team as well as implemented and maintained. Prepares and leads all audit functions and makes recommendations for corrective and preventive actions necessary to ensure conformity. Maintain an effective quality/regulatory document control system. Influence quality and productivity improvements through development of new and advanced procedures and process innovation. Supervise the staff within the quality department in all production locations. The Quality Assurance Manager will be highly organized, self-motivated and effective in communication. In addition, this position with create and monitor baseline standards, ensure consistent processes and uniform documentation to enhance quality processes throughout the organization using FSMA, USDA, FDA and ISO guidelines.
