[[ACCOUNTABILITIES [[The Assembly Production Technician has the responsibility to perform the necessary tasks involved in the process of assembling components required to manufacture dressed axle front/rear heavy-duty drive axles. ]{arial=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{arial=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}

  • You must have been a PEAK employee for at least 90 days, with no more than 3 attendance points and no performance issues.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as torque wrenches, calipers, dial indicators, and micrometers to determine adherence of product characteristics to prescribed specifications.
  • Ensure operation of machinery is performed in accordance with established procedures, for the safety of the individual, and all employees.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Identify and record any product, process, and quality system problems.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected as defined by applicable procedures and/or delegation of the area manufacturing manager.
  • Perform rework and repair operations on nonconforming material.
  • Perform equipment preventative maintenance.
  • Perform safety and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate actively in the team to achieve team goals.
