POSITION SUMMARY
If you are working toward a career in Engineering, we have an exciting internship opportunity with Nestlé Purina in Flagstaff, Arizona. Learn from our expert Engineering team while gaining valuable real-world experience in a highly automated and complex pet food manufacturing facility. Whether your focus is mechanical, process, electrical and/or project engineering, this internship will challenge you to expand your skillset and make a genuine impact.
Prepare specifications and develop bid scopes for contractors
Develop estimates and source equipment for projects
Create design solutions to address areas of opportunity in accordance with engineering standards pertaining to safety, sanitation and production impact
Assist in supervising contractors and maintenance personnel on capital upgrades and projects
Contribute to team effort by engaging in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) activities to drive results
Engage in a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
Must be a college student of Engineering who is preferably entering senior year in the fall of 2024
Must be available to sustain up to a one-year internship commitment (spring 2024 to spring 2025)
Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site at the Flagstaff manufacturing facility
Other
- Experience with AutoCAD is preferred but not required
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $26.02. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
