The dietary staff is responsible for complete preparation and distribution of patient and employee meals. Staff must have complete knowledge in all areas of the kitchen and be prepared to perform all duties as requested by the Dietary Site Manager. Department Description: We are a small, family friendly department in a rural family friendly hospital with a BIG heart for our patients, guests and fellow employees. Minimum qualifications for working in this great department include but are not limited to: having fun, integrity and compassion which create an environment of healing, happiness and wellbeing for everyone. Knowledge in safe and proper food handling is helpful but not required. All of the important and detailed skills needed to be a competent food service professional will be learned during the training process. If this sounds like I am describing you, please join our team of caring individuals. Shifts Varied shifts starting as early as 7am and ending no later than 5pm. This is a casual position (less than 32 hours biweekly) in order to cover for vacations and sick calls.
