INTEGRATED FACILITY SERVICES Tool Crib Assistant in Fenton, Missouri

Growth oriented multi-disciplined Mechanical Contracting firm is currently seeking a Tool Crib Assistant to support the Tool Manager and Purchasing agent in coordinating and organizing the company's material and tool needs. Integrated Facility Services is a leading mechanical contractor with more than 55 years history serving the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area, as well as an office serving outstate Missouri.

Job Duties:

  • Receive inbound shipments from UPS and Fed-Ex, deliver to appropriate individuals and document for tracking purposes
  • Prepare packages for outbound shipping
  • Create purchase orders and issue to technicians and suppliers to materials, tools, supplies, etc.
  • Assist with material warranty processing and returns
  • Assist with annual physical inventory
  • Responsible to lock tool room, exterior warehouse doors, and gates at end of day.
  • Assist in keeping tool/parts room clean and well organized at all times.
  • Issue tools and equipment to field personnel as required.
  • Ensure return of issued tools and equipment back to the tool room after use.
  • Assist to maintain and update records in tool management software system.
  • Perform annual and periodic inventory checks of tools to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Assist to ensure useable and safe condition of tools
  • Repair of tools as requested by Tool Manager

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient with computer systems. Experience with inventory control systems a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
  • Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
