ATWORK-TJ's Safety Training & Staffing Maintenance Mechanic in Farmville, Virginia

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Experience working with logic controllers and other automated systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance best practices
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
