Job Summary

Develops pricing models for organizational goods and services. Develop product costing models, maintain material adjustment database, contract reviews, and creation of monthly sales forecast.

Job Duties Coordination and documentation of customer Requests for Quotations Generation of monthly sales Budget and Forecasting reports Creation of detailed product costing and quotations Maintain Quotation and Contract records Accessing customer website portals to provide quote and cost breakdown information Facilitate Manufacturing Feasibility reviews in order to build part routing, bill of materials, and costing as a function of the quotation process Maintain the Raw Material Surcharge database and resulting price adjustments in the MRP system Initiate the Contract Review process including confirmation of purchase orders Continuous Improvement and refinement of departmental processes and procedures Ability to use advanced functions for Excel in creating spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, etc. Advanced systems skills (Internet, MS Office, MRP systems, databases, etc.) Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams Ability to read and comprehend product drawings, engineering specifications, and processes Customer focused and responsive High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collect and analyze data relating to current and predicted market conditions, cost overhead or competition pricing in order to recommend pricing strategies or standardize pricing guidelines Balance customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share or profit margin Model pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance May provide customized pricing to the sales team Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned
