Vocational Training Center Direct Support Professional - Temporary in Fargo, North Dakota

Job Type: Temporary Full-time and Part-time

Pay: Starting at $16.05 (DOE)

Schedule: Hours available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday - evening and weekend hours may also be available depending on program needs and candidate availability

The Vocational Training Center (VTC) of Fargo, ND is now searching for candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to join our team as temporary Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for the summer.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Providing guidance to and actively engaging with adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities in a variety of vocational and social settings
  • Accompanying individuals to off-site activities
  • Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on the individual's needs
  • Documenting individual's information as required by the Person-Centered Service Plan
  • Maintaining flexibility and composure in an ever-changing work environment
  • Completing the required competency-based modules as dictated by the North Dakota Department of Human Service, Developmental Disabilities Division.

Other duties not listed above may be assigned.

Required:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Current driver's license?
