Appropriately handling & directing all inquiries from telephone callers, including residents, staff, guests & visitors & intervening as appropriate to meet the needs of the participants. Is knowledgeable of & understands the needs of the resident population. Description Greets clients, visitors & guests; determines the purpose of each person?s visit & directs or escorts him/her to the appropriate location. Answers, screens & directs phone calls to staff; take messages & schedules appointments. Receives mail, documents, packages & courier deliveries & delivers or distributes items. Performs administrative & clerical support tasks. Performs basic filing & recordkeeping. Assures that the common areas & equipment are properly maintained for comfort, convenience & safety, operating to manufacturer?s specifications. Drives Heritage vehicle for errands, transporting, or other uses as directed. Participates in programs designed for in-service education, on the job training & orientation classes. Develops & maintains a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, & other departments within Heritage to meet the needs of Heritage. Maintains the confidentiality of all resident information, including protected health information & reports known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of said information. Performs other job-related duties as requested by the Executive Director &/or designee to meet the needs of the residents & the facility. Qualifications High School degree receptionist experience preferred Proficient in computer skills, telephone use, & typing skills Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to answer & call out using telephone equipment. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must have a current MA Driver?s License. Schedule Details: 40 hours per week, (3x) 8a-8p & (1x) 4p-8p, rot. days, E/O weekend & rot. holidays
