Rand Precision Machining Roving Inspector in Falconer, New York
Rand Machine is recruiting for a Roving Inspector in Quality Control. We are a growing company, and we are looking for qualified candidates that are looking for growth opportunities and a long-time career.Position OverviewPerforms shop in-process inspection and approves outgoing product by performing the following duties.Essential Job Functions:· Reads drawings and blueprints to effectively qualify machined products.· Uses basic measuring equipment (Calipers, micrometers)· Reads and interprets Control Plans.· Runs basic CMM.· Performs cell product audits and documents inspection results.· Performs Final Audits before shipping to customer.· Performs outgoing product audits before shipping to outside operations.· Maintains records of all measurements· Other duties may be assigned.Qualifications•Excellent attention to detail, time management skills and meeting deadlines•Positive attitude and ability to handle highly confidential information•Ability to reflect positive attitude and disciplined work ethic•Ability to work in a team•Ability to work independently•High energy levelLocation: Falconer, NYBenefits offered: Paid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement benefitsHealthcare spending/reimbursementRand Machine is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to fostering diversity in its staff, and strongly encourages applications from the entire spectrum of a diverse community.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 - 50 per week
