Key Responsibilities

The Adult Services Department of SMHC is looking for an energetic, dedicated, experienced individual to join our Exeter team. This position requires coordinating services and providing direct support, advocacy and assertive outreach to adults with mental illness. The ideal applicant must possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or the equivalent and preferably have one year of experience working in the field.

Other Requirements

  • Must also demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

  • The Outreach Specialist must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to demonstrate a "clean" driving record.

  • CPR/First Aid training is recommended.
