At Seacoast Mental Health Center, we provide hope and promote recovery for children, adolescences, adults and their families in the Eastern half of Rockingham county. The rising demand for mental health and substance use disorder services offers immediate employment opportunities

Key Responsibilities

As we continue to grow we are seeking a clinician for our Youth & Family Services Department to provide clinical services to children identified with a severe emotional disturbance and their families in our Portsmouth Office. The clinician will provide intake assessments, family and individual treatment, targeted case management and functional support services. Services will be delivered in the office, family's homes and community settings.

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in a mental health/human service field.

  • Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Knowledge of evidenced-based practices and the NH community mental health system are also a plus.

  • The successful candidate must be proficient in the use of technology, including an electronic health record.

  • Must be licensed or eligible (if eligible, shall seek license), in the State of New Hampshire.

  • CPR and First Aid training is recommended.

Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. offers a generous compensation package including paid time off, health and dental plans, retirement account match, etc. In addition, applicants may be eligible for the NH State Loan Repayment program for up to $45,000 for a minimum service obligation of 36 months with an opportunity of an extension for an additional 24 months at $20,000. We also offer Licensing Supervision with a 2 year commitment after receiving License.
