Work in collaboration with the healthcare team to assist physicians and providers in the delivery of exceptional patient care. Please click here: https://youtu.be/MrNWtn42prY Job Duties: Medical Assistant - 1 - Maintain a reputation for effective interpersonal relations with team, supervisors, and patients. - Room patients within 4-6 minutes; ensure their comfort and satisfaction and that provider is timely patient visits. - Effectively communicates with the care team to ensure successful patient care flow. - Capture and accurately document full vitals - Review and verify patient medication/allergies - Perform Intake Function - Capture patient\'s chief complaint and enters into electronic health records (EHR) system. - Provide applicable informational/forms to patients. - Assist with patient discharge/provide after visit summary. - Complete room turnover process - Stock examination rooms/notify supply personnel when low stock. - Complete \'tasks\' and phone calls daily with guidance from supervisor or ACA. - Performs EKG, injections/vaccines under supervision. - Complete other tasks as directed by supervisor or ACA. Medical Assistant - 2 - Proficiently and independently completes all MA I essential job functions. - Assist provider with minor medical procedures. - Complete chart prep based upon provider schedules, including but not limited to pulling Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP), getting consents ready. - Make increasingly more complex phone calls that require skilled communication and decision-making. - Under supervision the MA III may order and perform CLIA waived tests. - Complete other tasks as directed by supervisor or ACA. Medical Assistant - 3 - Proficiently completes all MA I & II essential job functions - Train MS\'s - Complete special projects Job requirements: - High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) - Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution, a community college program in medical assisting preferred. - Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Caregiver or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preferred. - Experience with Electrocardiogram (EKG), taking vital signs, venipuncture, capillary and giving injections. - Current BLS certification or obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. - Current health records with the appropriate immunization to work in the health care field (Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis). - Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
