Care Arc is looking for an Environmental Health Specialist.

As an Environmental Health Specialist you will be inspecting private on-site wastewater and drinking water systems, animal bite investigations, and real-estate transfer inspections.

You will investigate health complaints and concerns that will include but are not limited to: landlord/tenant concerns, solid waste complaints, disease vectors, and healthy home visits.

It will be necessary to perform environmental evaluations of schools and to conduct City health inspections for Cereal Malt Beverage or drinking establishments.

There will also be some records and case files that will need to be maintained.

Requirements for this job include a Bachelors degree in biology, environmental science, or a related field. You must also possess a valid drivers license with a safe driving record. You will need a positive attitude and be a team player.

Bachelor\'s Degree (four year college or technical school) Required; Field of Study: Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.

Actual work experience may be substituted for the education requirement at the discretion of the Environmental Health Director.

Preferred Qualifications\ Registered Sanitarian Certification
