HOTEL BAR CASHIER *Waitress for Restaurant and Bar *Presents well-groomed, represents self and hotel *This position's responsibility is to deliver food orders from the kitchen to each customers' table in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner every time *Respond to guest meal issues or complaints in a professional, courteous and timely manner *Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential *Ability to communicate with coworkers and other departments with Professionalism and Respect at all times *Assure guests are provided exceptional customer service, including order menu add-ons, refills and being vigilant that table is clean of debris during meal as well as asking guests if any other services are needed to compliment their meal , always allow our guests to eat in the restaurant and/or bar area, we pride ourselves in making them feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable at all times, from beginning to the end of meal or hotel stay *Records transaction for each customer/table for meals served promptly and courteously, soon after guests have comfortably enjoyed their meal and are ready to depart , operates cash/credit card/electronic payments on the register. Follows all cash-handling and balances drawer at end of shift *Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, tables, chairs, floors, or any appliances or fixtures providing exceptional cleanliness for service , ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and or pull and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift or move 40 pounds *Ability to work a flexible schedule, able to work nights, weekends and holidays, as needed Food Handlers Certification Card and Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC) Card are both Required *Please apply in person at the hotel and request an employment application with the Front Desk Team.
