The Director of Operational Improvement supports the development and execution of the Operational Excellence OGSM (Objectives/Goals/Strategies/Measures) roll-out, inclusive of the AOS (Agropur Operating System) deployment and its pillars to realize the full potential across manufacturing. This position will support strategic change by recommending solutions to meet each site's short-, medium- and long-term objectives. Motivate and coach a team of Operational Improvement Managers across multiple sites, in keeping with Agropur's values. Work closely with Plant Directors on achieving their operating plan targets by deploying the Agropur Operating System program in the plant, in addition to industry-best problem-solving tools (e.g. DMAIC Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED) in order to improve SQDCME (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Mobilization, Environment) performance and optimize all components of the manufacturing cycle. See to the standardization of plant performance metrics (KPIs). Ensure alignment between stakeholders outside the plant to ensure successful deployment in terms of both cultural transformation and results optimization. Support the sector during Weekly and Monthly Direction Settings to promote best practices in operational improvement and performance management (RCA coaching, servant leadership, top losses). Actively support networking to exchange best practices and accelerate improvement. What you need to join our team: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required. Minimum ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing operations (in a role such as Production manager, Plant Manager, Operational Improvement Manager). Minimum five (5) years of experience in Lean Six Sigma, DMS, etc. or experience as a consultant on Lean Manufacturing implementation required. Financial acumen (KPI, horizontal management) required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Between travel to work out of either Eden Prairie, MN or Appleton, WI office.
