PURPOSE/SCOPE: The Channel Development Coordinator will assist in the development of strategies and making recommendations aimed at improving performance metrics for various programs. Through consistent implementation and meticulous planning, this individual will contribute to the achievement of channel objectives, which may encompass distribution, direct sales, strategic accounts, and more. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in channel development while actively contributing to the organization's growth initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Organize and prepare materials for annual sales meeting, coordinate logistics of attendees and compile post-meeting action items

  • Assist in process to review, renew and execute annual channel programs, while making recommendations to enhance program and streamline process, for example, Distributor Partners-in-Profit program

  • Ensure accurate data to drive engagement across sales and channel partners to participate in programs designed to develop growth in product awareness, for example, Tennant Edge program

  • Maintain North America demo fleet inventory, ensuring staying within budget and actual physical inventory aligns with SAP

  • Coordinate with sales and real estate time for demo storage facilities lease renewals

  • Execute on incentive programs results that ensure continued drive towards performance goals attainment

  • Provide support to sales, and channel customers, with creation of sales tools, such as image requests, flyers or other collateral

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and marketing with communications that impact our channel customers

  • Shares divisional approaches/solutions across team for NA leverage and learnings

  • Provides operations support for sales manager(s) around executing and/or improving and managing the new/current initiatives and business processes

  • Ad hoc requests that align to NA priorities and drive sales performance

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Strongly preferred:Two to three years business experience

  • Solid planning, communication, teamwork and organization skills

  • Strong decision making, problem solving, attention to detail and independence skills

  • Demonstrated ability to recommend areas in need of change within process and products

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication

  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Responsive and quick to react to new and urgent requests
