Civil Engineer Site Development Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt has an immediate need for an experienced Civil Engineer in the areas of site development and stormwater management. KHHs site engineering and landscape architecture work spans the residential, commercial and institutional sectors. Our experiences encompass all aspects of planning and implementation for subdivisions, campuses, commercial development, solar arrays, green infrastructure projects, sports & recreational facilities, and landscape design. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare SWPPPs with hydrology calculations and erosion & sediment control plans. Prepare construction plans and specifications, including the design of potable water and sanitary sewer facilities, stormwater infrastructure, land grading, driveways, sidewalks, etc. Complete engineering studies and reports for water, sanitary sewer, or stormwater projects. Prepare SEQR documentation and municipal permit applications. Provide office-based construction support with occasional field visits. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or similar field. Professional Engineer license is required. Familiarity with CAD and computer hydrology programs is preferable. Must be proficient in a Windows environment, including word processing, spreadsheet and database software. Must be able to perform work in both an office and construction environment. Possesses strong written and verbal communication, is capable of managing time well and has the ability to interact professionally with all those associated with the project. Pay is up to $85,000 per year.
