We are looking for a talented Supervisor – Field Service to join our team specialising in heavy vehicle equipment repairs and maintenance for our Darwin branch. This key appointment is responsible for coordinating all off-site based activities whilst providing direction to a team of dedicated field service technicians.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Efficiently manage the day to day running of field service work,

  • Plan, schedule and allocate all field service repair events for Darwin branch,

  • Lead, mentor, and coach field service technicians - remotely supervise repairs and sign off on Technicians work - track and measure technician productivity and performance,

  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers,

  • Provide technical support to the staff.

  • Maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OH&S requirements. Conduct quality checks. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping, workflow, and traffic management in the site.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Proven supervisory/leadership experience with a strong technical background – ideally within heavy diesel

  • Significant field service work experienceExpert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

  • Heavy Vehicle qualification – highly desirable

  • Motivated towards developing a high performing and professional team and their commitment to safety and providing exceptional customer service
