Job Description Summary

In this role, you will drive and support daily Logistics Operations within your Region (GERMANY, AUSTRIA, SWITZERLAND).

In your region, you have the responsibility to drive and support daily operations for the last mile transportation and local Warehouses.

You will work closely with internal teams such as Customer Order Management, Project Management for Installations, Service-Delivery and the Logistics Teams, as well as external partners like 3PL Warehouse and carriers to ensure smooth operations.

Job Description

What will be your Mission?

  • improve Customer experience and GEHC competitiveness by delivery @right time, @right place and @optimized cost - without compromising on safety and compliance !

  • improve OnTimeDelivery Performance

  • improve last mile delivery processes to increase customer satisfaction

  • manage carriers to achieve high last-mile-performance (Downstream)

  • drive 3PL warehouse to achieve high outbound performance (Downstream)

  • forecast/plan outbound of large devices to ensure a smooth supply chain

  • improve last mile delivery processes to increase customer satisfaction

  • provide hypercare for top-critical transports

  • drive standardization of warehouse transportation operations

  • drive safety, ensure valid global Standard Procedures are applied

  • maintain critical data to comply with regulations (i.e. hazardous materials)

  • drive cost optimization:

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to reduce outbound costs

  • control and approve invoices/cost vs. service/material delivered

What are the strengths and expertise required for the role ?

  • Professional degree/ Bachelor´s degree in logistics or a related field

  • First experience in order management and/or services operations

  • Solid Excel skills

  • Analytical thinking & a strong interest in Lean fundamentals

  • Fluent English/German in written and spoken

  • Passion to serve customers

  • Customer focused, de-escalating and hands-on, problem-solving mindset

  • Proven communication skills

  • Good ability to collaborate across functions

  • Ability to manage internal customer’s expectations and satisfaction

Highly appreciated but also trainable "on-the-job" are:

  • PowerBI, Access, SQL knowledge
