Summary:

The Global Response Operations (GRO) organization within Global Operations responds to highly sensitive and urgent events and problem spaces. We focus on the detection, critical response, and intelligence capabilities needed to identify, prioritize, and mitigate the most critical issues for the business and for our communities.Intelligence Managers on the GRO Intelligence team are responsible for preparing intelligence reports, handling sensitive information or graphic content, and providing recommendations to various stakeholders using compelling narratives and data-driven trends. Intelligence Managers are also responsible for synthesizing insights from across GRO into a unified assessment and then representing that unified GRO to XFN partners. The focus of the role is to help Meta discover and analyze gaps that could manifest within Meta’s family of products in an effort to make Meta and its users more secure through risk mitigations.The ideal candidate will have a multidisciplinary investigative and analytical background and the ability to identify risks and make risk-based recommendations. It is highly important that candidates are focused on results and are self-starters. This role may periodically require candidates to work weekends or after hours during select high priority events.

Intelligence Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying risks and providing recommendations on mitigation solutions and strategies

  2. Running risk analysis based on information solicited from available sources and partners

  3. Building compelling risk trend narratives for key partners and executives

  4. Collaborating with wide-range of stakeholders, including in regulatory compliance and paid spaces

  5. Critical thinking to piece together different data points

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience conducting Trust and Safety and/or Business Integrity investigations, intelligence analyses, UXR analysis, or similar functions

  2. Experience with pattern, network and behavioral analysis, or root cause analysis methodologies

  3. Experience in storytelling through compiling, drafting and presenting analytical reports that clearly and succinctly summarize findings

  4. Experience working in an ambiguous environment with work requiring a quick turnaround to assist cross-functional teams in making and/or influencing decisions

  5. Basic knowledge of SQL, Python or other data analytics programming languages
