About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Outlet Manager - F&B Service to join Burj Al Arab Jumeirah .The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Manages day to day operation of the department thus ensuring all service standards are met in line with standard operating procedure and they are followed in courteous yet professional manner thus providing delightful and engaging services to all guests.

  • Ensures that cash is always safe guarded, and all paperwork is completed, filled and kept up to date in accordance with company policy.

  • Assists the Outlet Manager in preparing annual plans, forecasts and managing expenses to meet departmental budgetary goals. Maximize profitability & revenue by controlling labour and expenses.

  • Manages escalations and concerns and resolve them with support from Outlet manager where needed, tracking, and notifying proper areas and responsible person to guarantee memorable experience for our guests.

  • Manages Team activities under direction of Outlet Manager such as daily briefings, meetings, outing and other necessary activities to keep the team engaged and motivated.

  • Define training needs and propose training programs in co-relation with Outlet Manager. Ensures that regular training is conducted within the outlet and that all colleagues are trained as per their job specification.

  • Ensures that the team adhere to Business conduct and ethics, Health & Safety policies, Local Hygiene regulations and all Colleagues report to their daily assignments on time and are properly groomed and dressed in line with Jumeirah grooming standards.

  • Oversees that Team leaders are leading the team efficiently and diligently. Prepares roster in line with budget and business requirements where applicable and ensures vacation planning is updated.

  • Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all Guests are served as per the brand standard. Assist the Outlet Manager in continuously growing the business.

  • Makes suggestions to increase the market share for the Outlet thus optimizing profits and increasing sales.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Assistant Outlet Manager role with strong F&B background in a standalone/branded restaurant.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • MS Office applications (Basic Knowledge).

  • Proficient in English and Arabic – Level 3 as Minimum (Read/Write/Speak – Essential).

  • Additional Language would be an advantage.
