Job Description Specialist, Quality Assurance (Site Specific)

Provides specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, including specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, quality tools for problem solving and assessment. Creates inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met. Makes recommendations for corrective action. Applies knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution.

Implements principles of performance evaluation and prediction methods are used to improve product systems safety, reliability, and maintainability. Responsible for maintaining quality standard of products and the procedures and materials that go into work scope. Aligns quality management function with the performance needs of product lines. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.

Education / Experience

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree (i.e. Quality, Safety, or similar fields).

Preferred:

  • Preferred 1 or more years of exposure / experience on Base Support Services / Military or Commercial Construction Projects and/or various Technical/Testing Procedures.

  • Experience or understanding in any of the following Quality Management System, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Inspection, Auditing. Advantage having ISO 9001:2015 QMS, NAVFAC/USACE - CQM, Six Sigma experience.

  • Must have very good level of proficiency in spoken / verbal, written and comprehension of the English language.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity

  • Must possess passport book with at least 15 months of remaining validity and with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
