DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Control and extinguish Fires (Structural and Aircraft)

  • Respond to Medical Emergencies and render aid

  • Perform Rescue activities

  • Manage and perform associated administrative duties

  • Maintain a neat appearance, physical fitness and acceptable grooming standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Obtain and maintain Emergency Medical Responder Certification and CPR Certification

Obeys orders of direct supervisors, cooperates with fellow supervisors, follows the orders of medical direction, maintains a neat appearance, physical fitness, acceptable grooming standards and good conduct.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/EDUCATION :

REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Fighter I & II

  • DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Airport Firefighter

  • DoD, IFSAC or Pro Borad HazMat Awareness & Operations

PREFERRED:

  • DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board HAZMAT Technician

  • DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Driver Operator Pumper

  • DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Driver Operator ARFF

  • DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Driver Operator Aerial

  • DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Driver Operator MWS

EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be at least high school graduate.

  • At least three years of experience in Fire and Emergency Services

  • English – excellent reading, writing and speaking skills
