Firefighter/EMR
DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control and extinguish Fires (Structural and Aircraft)
Respond to Medical Emergencies and render aid
Perform Rescue activities
Manage and perform associated administrative duties
Maintain a neat appearance, physical fitness and acceptable grooming standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Obtain and maintain Emergency Medical Responder Certification and CPR Certification
Obeys orders of direct supervisors, cooperates with fellow supervisors, follows the orders of medical direction, maintains a neat appearance, physical fitness, acceptable grooming standards and good conduct.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/EDUCATION :
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Fighter I & II
DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Airport Firefighter
DoD, IFSAC or Pro Borad HazMat Awareness & Operations
PREFERRED:
DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board HAZMAT Technician
DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Driver Operator Pumper
DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Driver Operator ARFF
DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Driver Operator Aerial
DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Driver Operator MWS
EXPERIENCE:
Must be at least high school graduate.
At least three years of experience in Fire and Emergency Services
English – excellent reading, writing and speaking skills
