Master Maintenance Cleaner in Detroit, Michigan

Part-time Cleaner    Summary: *Responsible for carrying out light and heavy cleaning tasks for an environment in an office environment.    *Available shift: Monday - Friday 6PM-10PM (20 hours per week)

 

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Essential Job Functions:

  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
  • Clean and disinfect equipment
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
  • Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
  • Remove garbage and recycling
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
  • Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
  • Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
  • Identify and report possible repairs
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision
  • Ability to take direction
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professionalism
  • Knowledgeable about carpet cleaning procedures

Experience:

  • Custodial Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
