What this job involves - The Maintenance Mechanic will support the operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in a campus setting of commercial facilities. In this role, you will collaborate with MES Mobile Engineers to perform maintenance and repair tasks and independently handle defined assignments. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections and repairs of property interiors and exteriors, such as walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting. What is your day to day? - Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders for facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems and equipment. - Conduct inspections and assessments of facilities, reporting on conditions that may impact client occupancy and operations. - Handle general interior maintenance tasks, such as repairing office furniture systems and fixing doors, moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as needed. - Replace lighting and perform basic HVAC maintenance, including cleaning coils and changing filters and belts. - Utilize CMMS systems such as 360 Facility for all work performed. - This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including: Lifting a minimum of 80 lbs., using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights, climbing a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
