Description Robert Half is representing a rapidly growing organization seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst with advanced Excel skills to join our team. We provide an environment that encourages teamwork, fosters professional growth, and provides opportunities for upskilling.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns.

  2. Conduct research on taxation issues and laws to ensure compliance.

  3. Review tax liabilities and prepare and analyze tax-related financial statements

  4. Utilize Excel spreadsheets and other financial software to compile, analyze, and present complex data.

  5. Assist senior tax analysts and cooperate with other departments relating to tax matters.

  6. Maintain up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

  7. Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports of overall tax liabilities.

  8. Identify tax savings opportunities and provide advice on tax-related matters to management. Requirements

  9. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  10. CPA certification is a plus.

  11. 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.

  12. Advanced proficiency in Excel is required(capability of using complex Excel functions and creating formulas,; Pivot table, Vlookup, Hlookup, and other excel software, skills in using Excel macros and VBA is a plus)

  13. Experience with tax preparation and planning software.

  14. Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.

  15. Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and detail-oriented.

  16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
