TEKsystems Banking / Wire Transfer Specialist in Denver, Colorado

Job Description:

  • Obtain all wire transfers, either from internal banking product or wire transfer system

  • Determine if outgoing wire requests have been properly authorized

  • Verify incoming wires for appropriate account ownership

  • Electronically process wires from internet banking product to WireXchange software to FRB

  • Verify that all wire transfers from branches and internet banking product have been received and sent to FRB balancing at end of day

  • Process all incoming wires from FRB to accounts

  • Balance wire totals at mid-day and end of day

  • Assist internal customers with research pertaining to wire transfers

  • Answer wire transfer phone line Monitor and Maintain balances at correspondence banks

  • Process Electronic Securities

  • Process consumer online banking enrollment

  • Assist with mobile deposit review

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of previous banking experience, specifically experience working with online banking and wire transfers

  • Has experience looking at wires and multiple deposits – understand if they have had fraud on their account, if they need to put a hold on account, etc.

  • Strong communication skills – ability to communicate via email with branches, approvers, executive management (come across professional and be very detailed with words)

  • Would look at individuals from the branch and bring them into the back office operations (i.e. Teller, Universal Banker, Personal Banker)

  • someone who has a strong attention to detail and prides themselves on accuracy in their work

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
