City Of Delta Sports Official in Delta, Colorado

POSITION: Sports Official

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Under direct supervision of the Community Engagement Manager is responsible for officiating events for all levels of competition in youth and adult sports and for providing a positive, neutral, and safe environment for all.

REQUIREMENTS: *Extensive knowledge of the rules and operations of youth and adult sports programs, such as basketball, softball, volleyball and soccer. *Working knowledge of the methods involved in organizing, conducting, instructing, and supervising sports and recreational program. *Prior officiating experience preferred. *Exercise sound judgement in all circumstances. *Ability to effectively communicate with participants, parents, coaches, volunteers, subordinates and co-workers via face-to-face, telephone and e-mail.

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.

WAGE: Wage: $20.00 Non Certified-$25.00 Certified.
