GROWMARK, Inc. Grain Elevator Operator - FS PARTNERS, Delhi, Aylmer, Straffordville, ON in Delhi, Ontario

In this role you will: * Unload grain trucks and wagons into the elevator during harvest time * Load grain trucks outbound for end user destinations * Operate a computer to identify load numbers, scale weights, grades and other paperwork * Scale trucks in and out using a computer system * Drive and operate straightforward plant equipment and machinery, such as bobcats, forklifts, and/or trucks * Transfer and organize goods * Maintain and adjust straightforward equipment and/or machinery * Perform general machine/ motor/ auger maintenance and repairs * Maintain grain elevator, grounds, warehouse and premises, including yard work * Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment * Receive grain and grade accordingly by sampling, testing, and weighing * Operate automated system grain dryers * Climb ladders and work at heights * Complete monthly inventory checks of grain silos and record results * Participate in silo cleanouts to sweep, shovel, grain vacuum the silo empty * Provide excellent customer service to the customers year round Note: Work location will rotate between Delhi, Aylmer, and Straffordville. * WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE* * Comfortable with computer/digital technology * An understanding of electrical panels * Physically fit to climb heights * Ability to lift 50lbs * A general knowledge and skills required to safely operate straightforward plant equipment, and/or machinery * Full G driver's license * Conversational English skills, with the ability to follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures; write and make accurate reporting entries, comprehend simple instructions * WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE* * We value* relationships* and people first and foremost. * We are a company that gives back to the community. * We emphasize sustainability practices and stewardship of our resources. * We provide access to in-house training and leadership development opportunities. * We ensure that employee* health* and wellness matters to us! * We offer a robust benefits package including a RRSP matching program and generous Paid Time Off (full-time positions only). * Paid overtime, when needed. * Annual Bonus. _ WHAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT US_ * FS PARTNERS is a retail division of GROWMARK, INC. serves local producers across Central and Southern Ontario.
