Position Duties:

  • Lead role in shaping Ford's global workforce planning processes:

  • Lead workstream on development and implementation of workforce planning processes and tools

  • Create detailed work plan with critical milestones to deliver new processes and tools

  • Lead regional representatives to develop processes to meet global and regional workforce planning requirements

  • Create solutions in \"white space\" that fit Ford's workforce planning business needs across global regions and skill teams

  • Complete external scanning and benchmarking of trends in the workforce planning and analytics arena

  • Prepare and present executive presentations using data and analytics to tell a compelling story

  • Lead efforts to identify business requirements and processes for a global workforce planning IT solution

  • Lead regional subject matter experts in the development of a Statement of Work detailing Ford's workforce planning processes that will be sent to prospective vendors to submit quotes

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in quantitative methods, e.g. statistics, econometrics

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or related fields

  • Must have completed and passed an internship with Ford Motor Company or Ford Motor Credit Company in the previous 24 months

  • 1-3 years of related experience with workforce planning and analytics in a large, global, manufacturing/engineering organization

  • Knowledge of best in class workforce planning techniques and processes

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven facilitation and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and project management

  • Excellent computer skills including analytics software (e.g. SAS)
