In this position:

This opportunity is for an Authentication, Authorization, & Accounting (AAA), RADIUS, and Identity Services Engineer.

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement Security Policies using Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) appliance for enterprise network

  • Stage new appliances and perform code upgrades and OS patching

  • Troubleshoot access issues across enterprise over wireless and wired network using ISE

  • Integrate ISE with Cisco Catalyst Center

  • Create & maintain scripts and automation software that uses ISE APIs

You'll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, or related technical field

  • 3-5 years equivalent experience in related field may be considered

  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE appliances

  • Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center and ISE integration

  • Familiarity with the information security concepts of Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA)

  • Basic knowledge of networking and IP protocols

  • Basic knowledge of Cisco IOS, NXOS, AireOS

  • Basic knowledge of Cisco L2/L3 switch technologies

  • Knowledge of wireless local area networks (WLAN, Wi-Fi)

  • In-depth understanding of Remote Authentication Dial-in User Service (RADIUS)

  • In-depth understanding of authentication concepts & protocols such as Extensible Authentication Protocol over Transport Layer Security (EAP-TLS), Protected EAP (PEAP), and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Excel and Sharepoint applications

  • Strong project management skills, organization skills, personal discipline, interpersonal relationship skills and communication skills (written and oral)

Even better, you may have:

  • Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP or CCIE)

  • Other technical or project management certifications (e.g., RCDD, PMI)

  • Strong process mindset – ability to follow and create effective and sustainable processes

  • High standards for quality; attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage several projects at the same time

  • Knowledge of Software Defined Network (SDN) technology

  • Knowledge of DNS and load-balancing technologies (ex: F5 Local Traffic Manager, F5 DNS)

  • Knowledge of Cisco Hyperflex, Unified Computing System (UCS) and virtualization technologies (VMWare)
