As we grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Transportation market to be based in our Dayton Ohio office. The Project Manager will be involved in business growth strategies, and direct multiple disciplinary large/complex projects. This individual will manage Design and Planning projects including oversight of the design process through construction administration, coordinating with the design team, our transportation clients and their leadership to ensure quality deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget. Our Project Managers manage and assist projects in multiple regions/states by providing design services and working with cross-functional teams to develop detailed deliverables. Responsibilities Direct and collaborate with cross-functional teams across all project phases from conceptual/preliminary design, detailed design, and construction. Ensure deliverables and quality standards are met in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule, and budget. Manage and support internal and client cross-functional teams. Develop and implement corrective action plans when deviations from budgets and/or schedules are evident. Facilitate client-facing change management and provide on-going communication throughout the project. Manage, monitor, and forecast metrics including Profit and Loss, Sales and Utilization, and Net Revenue for the portfolio. Monitor overall quality of the project performance and the product, and delivery to clients. Accountable for the successful delivery of assigned projects. Identify and communicate business growth opportunities and serve as a Transportation Structures Subject Matter Expert during the sales cycle and implementation including building relationships that match the client and project type focus and overall business strategy of the Ohio area. Meet with prospective clients to discuss their evolving needs and assess the opportunities for our firms AEG services to support them. Participate in the practices marketing and sale activities and lead interview teams. Involved with regional, state and national organizations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited school. Active Licensed Engineer in Ohio. License in additional states a plus. 10-15 years of experience in transportation design. Must be able to travel 25-30% to client sites. Strong design portfolio with representative projects in transportation. Knowledge of ODOT Project Development Process, construction documentation & administration and knowledge in state, local municipalities design process is a plus. MicroStation experience. Working with Transportation Market staff, have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new ones. Experience developing and managing project scope and fees as well as risk management and financial accountability.
