WR Systems Project Manager, Lead in Dam Neck, Virginia

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance is required to start

Location: Dam Neck, VA

SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for a Project Manager, Lead to identify project requirements and project risk plans under minimal supervision of the program manager or a more senior project manager.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

· Monitor and control project schedule, quality, and risk.

· Develop long and short-range project objectives.

· Provide assistance to experienced project managers.

· Aid the negotiation of delivery orders and contractual changes.

· Recommend changes to improve productivity and reduce cost.

· Assist with related proposal data calls.

· Maintain and manage relationships with customers.

· Schedule and coordinate meetings with customers.

· Supervise project resources.

· Respond to inquiries in regard to project.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

· Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management or related technical degree preferred.

· Five (5)+ years of experience managing projects, including some with moderate risk factors.

· Experience using Jira and Confluence.

· Familiar with Agile/Scrum.

· Preferred:

o A background in system engineering or software engineering.
