KBR's Government Solutions, Defense Systems Engineering Division is seeking a Lead Security Specialist (Top Secret Clearance) to join our team in Dallas, TX. As the Lead Security Specialist, you will provide facility administrative, personnel, and operational security support to the Advanced Sensor Technologies (AST) Program Office and Integrated Test Team (ITT).

In This Role, You Will...

  • Provide security management and administration to government test team personnel.

  • Provide guidance on DoD 5205.07 volume 1-4/ Information Assurance policies and procedures; conduct indoctrinations, debriefings, security education and awareness training. Submit visit requests for personnel in DISS. Provide security support for detachments; conduct site surveys.

  • Liaison with program security/information professionals. Support facility security management.

  • Prepare and submit PARs.

  • Manage classified media, including inventory, tracking, and custody control.

  • Interact with program managers from other organizations on security-related events.

Basic Qualifications

Travel: Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time

Clearance: Top Secret/SSBI security clearance with SCI eligibility. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Tier 5 Investigation (T5) completed within the past six (6) years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program is required.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: At least 8 years’ of experience in a DoD, DoE, or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DoD, DoE, or other government security regulatory manual.

  • Experience working in a DoD security environment. Experience providing security support for military detachments and remote sites.

  • Experience with DoD 5205.07 volume 1-4/NISPOM policies and procedures. Experience writing Security Test Plans. Experience tracking SETA and the SETA program

  • Experience conducting security review of documents using security classification guides. Experience with administrative, personnel, and operations security policies and procedures.

  • Experience in or ability to work with integrated teams comprised of military, civilian, and contractor personnel.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience serving as Contract Program Security Officer for classified DoD Programs

  • Experience managing a SCIF and/or classified facilities

  • Operational experience with active-duty DoD customers

  • Experience working with the US Navy, desired Naval P-3/P-8 Aviation experience

  • Experience with Advanced Sensor Technologies Program Office
