Must live in or near Phoenix (within 15 miles)

Journeyman Electricians with 6+ years commercial experience in commercial paced environment.

Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 + years relevant work experience in a heavy commercial setting.
  • Be able to think outside the box and be quick.
  • Working knowledge of conduit bends and wire pulls.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, machines, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and installation.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complicated blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks.
  • Must be familiar with the National Electric Codes, electrical theory, and be comfortable working with high voltage three phase circuits, generators, transformers, switch gear.
  • Outstanding ability to use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades.
  • Must have a current valid drivers license.
  • Must have a current and valid Journeyman Electricians license.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft computer applications used for compiling data and work records.
  • Outstanding effective interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a quality team member in a demanding service environment.
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and effective manner and provide great customer service.
  • May perform other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
  • Lift 75 pounds, 20 or more times per day and constantly move about on the feet.
  • Climb ladders of all types.
  • Complete full day assignments involving overhead work.
  • Ability to follow directions and work as a team is a must
  • Must be capable of securing tools and materials from storage areas to complete assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to positively identify different colors of wiring.
