Baylor Scott & White Health Insurance Specialist in Dallas, Texas
The Insurance Specialist under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, processes liability insurance claims and related correspondence associated with lawsuits. Gathers and posts to computer software all claims information and expense data and produces associated reports. Sets up claim file and works closely with General Counsel on claims history.
The Insurance Specialist will process claim expense data for payment and recording to claim file; file all claim data received; set up claim on computer and post all expense and reserve data working closely with General Counsel; assist with audit of claim files by re-insurance carrier and/or third-party administrator; and communicates with our captive insurance company with related claim information
The ideal Insurance Specialist candidate will be organized and flexible, will possess excellent communication skills and able to function in a fast paced environment.
