We have earned great customer loyalty. We are looking for hardworking individuals to join our growing team of highly skilled and dedicated employees.

At Zober we manufacture test, assemble circuit boards and electro-mechanical assemblies. We have need for a variety of soldering skills including hand, surface mount, and wave. Many jobs use sophisticated equipment and we are willing to train. Prior experience helpful.

  1. Responsibilities and Duties.

A Surface Mount Operator uses specialized equipment, and operates a PCB printed circuit board surface mount line. You will have a good knowledge of electronic manufacturing systems and production processes, and be able to operate and maintain the surface mount line and improve processes and procedures. Best candidates should be able to set up, change over, and program the machine, and ensure high quality assemblies in line with electronic drawings. Be able with light training to do feeder set-up, load and unload, component Identification, run the Surface Mount Line Conveyor System, Screen Printer Set-up, Solder Paste handling, inspection and evaluation, reflow inspection, hand placement and other common SMT responsibilities.

  1. Qualifications and Skills

· High school diploma or a GED certificate preferred.

· Training in surface mount technology (SMT) operations

· Must have meticulous attention to detail and be aware of discrepancy's

· Motivation to ensure excellent quality standards

· Excellent communication and team working skills as well as the ability to work independently

· Postsecondary training, such as a certificate program from a vocational school or community college, can improve your job prospects.

· Being able to assemble electronic equipment from blueprints or other technical schematics

· Must be patient and detail oriented.

· Willing to work in a team environment but most work done alone or in small groups.

· Ability to follow all workplace safety guidelines.

· Solder (IPC Certification Preferred) Willing to train and certify

· Mechanical Assembly with the ability to think outside of the box, and go the extra mile

· Problem solving daily issues with little oversight

· Must be willing to work with small parts, good eyesight and manual dexterity is required

  1. Working Conditions.

Fast paced, great variety of work with constant deadlines. Industrial environment with occasional dust, noise, etc., with protective equipment needed occasionally. Job may require lifting up to 50 Lbs. Must have reliable transportation. Be willing and able to work overtime up to 15%.
