The work involves responsibility for providing administrative support services to assist higher level staff in performing other professional functions. The work is primarily administrative in nature, however, an incumbent of this class also performs research on cases, has contact with providers, clients, and members of the public, and may make eligibility determinations on a limited scale. The work is performed according to Federal, State and local social service regulations under the supervision of a higher level staff person. Does related work as required.Work Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week with benefitsSalary: $18.4165-$23.3107/HR (CSEA Union)Location: Cortland County Department of Social ServicesStatus: Non-Competitive, ProbationaryBenefits: New York State Retirement System, Low Deductible Health Insurance Plan, Generous Paid Time Off including 13 Paid Holidays, Tuition Assistance available after one year of service.
