Job Title: Senior Store Opening Coordinator Reports to: Manager of New Store Operations Department: Store Operations Exempt Status: Exempt Primary Responsibilities: * Manages, through the Store Opening Coordinators and staff, the ongoing operations and development of the new store program within the scope of the company's mission and vision. * Revise store layout based on changing requirements of supplies and corporate initiatives. * Communicate with internal and external partners to keep projects on schedule. * Develop and execute plans for all coaching, training and development, evaluating, and supervising of store opening coordinators. * Evaluate and develop improved techniques for inventory control, shipping and receiving, and efficient use of labor. * Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise. Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent required. * Bachelor's Degree in management preferred. * Minimum of two years of retail experience in a management role in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business, or demonstration of skills and learning through an internal development program and selection process. * Ability to effectively communicate with all team members. * Ability to comprehend and accurately complete all documentation. * Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job. * Ability to complete assignments in the time allotted. Physical Requirements: * Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures frequently in excess of 70lb's. * Duties may frequently involve the use of ladders and stairs. * Frequent standing, bending, stooping and kneeling. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Travel to new stores including overnight travel required.
