Description Our busy MRF facility needs a reliable, well-organized Receptionist to handle day-to-day operations of the front desk with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting customers and other visitors to our office. We're looking for an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. This position will include advancement opportunities for the right candidate. Responsibilities of Position: Responsible for greeting and welcoming customers and vendors. Direct visitors to the appropriate person or location. Escort designated visitors to scheduled meetings as needed. Answer, screen and transfer incoming phone calls. Receive payments from walk-in customers. Ensure the reception area is clean and organized. Responsible for periodic mailroom coverage as needed. Oversee the opening and closing of the building to regulate entrance/exit. Maintain office security by controlling access to the building. Monitor Log Book and issue Visitor badges. Assist with room arrangements and catering needs for meetings, training classes, and other major events. Assist with ordering office supplies. Monitor and facilitate the flow of customers, applicants and vendors to the lobby kiosks. Responsible for providing recommendations for office efficiencies. Collaborating with on-site Maintenance Manager to resolve building maintenance issues. Assisting with emergency response and evacuations. Performs other duties as required. Skills & Abilities Needed for Position: Build and nurture positive working relationships with the employees, customers, and vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Able to multi-task in fast pace environment and manage time effectively. Passion for customer service, efficiency, effectiveness, precision and quality.
