Manager, Pharmacy Sales Job Description: CoverMyMeds, a division of McKesson Corporation, has an open position for a Manager of Pharmacy Sales. The Manager of Pharmacy Sales will be accountable and responsible for executing quota attainment, sales governance, team guidelines and overall revenue growth and retention in the identified market. The role will be expected to manage the pharmacy market sales team that is responsible for third party vendors, digital pharmacies, community pharmacies and ambulatory pharmacy market sales team with a strong focus on building reseller/third party vendor agreements. This role will be expected to execute strategy, manage the pipeline, adhere to budget according to the McKesson Travel and Expense policies and build collaboration with the operations, finance, and legal teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and communicate strategic sales plans to grow and retain existing revenue in identified market. Manager will have strong pharmacy acumen, financial acumen, negotiation skills and understanding of working in a large corporation. Develop strategies for delivering key metrics for success of the team.Lead with an enterprise first mindset and as a business partner to our shared service teams, to optimize business results and customer satisfaction. Lead the selling activity of the CMM pharmacy portfolio within identified market; with the ability to collaborate and work with other divisions of the organization to enhance the enterprise. The manager will be responsible to meet metrics for the team. Such as pipeline integrity and accuracy, revenue retention and growth quota attainment, and be a voice of the customer internally. Involved in co-negotiating contracts for net new or existing contracts and skills to build relationships with clients. Responsible for building and growing performance of sales activities within identified market. Ability to translate and execute a sales strategy by implementing proper processes and daily management so there is a solid understanding of performance expectations and results, and where action needs taken to improve or accelerate business performance. Minimum Qualification Requirements: 7+ years of commercial experience including experience in a leadership and/or managerial role. Displaysconfidence and convictionwhen engaging. Demonstrates self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Balances directness with willingness to confront tough issues and challenges. Leads across enterprise boundaries to break down silos, foster collaboration, problem solve, develop individuals,andcreate team alignment. Executing and promoting sales strategies. Experience with prolonged and short sales cycles. Experience leveraging sales processes and CRM systems. Critical Skills: Practical experience with executing and contributing to sales and contract negotiations. Strong Pharmacy Market Acumen. Consistently demonstrates the ability to make tough decisions and trade-offs on complex issues using logical analysis, experience, instinct, and consideration of the best interest of McKesson.
