Job Summary The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IDAM) engineer who will be responsible for increasing cybersecurity and automation on new and existing IDAM management solutions.In this role, you will help modernize the IDAM strategy and implement and design secure solutions based on business requirements.You will join a team of cybersecurity professionals who are chartered with securing Aerospace's classified and unclassified enterprise IT environments.

Work Model This position will be a hybrid work model located at one of the following campuses - El Segundo, CA, Chantilly, VA or Colorado Springs, CO. 3 days/week onsite required.

What You'll be Doing Designing or upgrading new identity and access management solutions for the Enterprise across key technologies such as: Active Directory & Azure Active Directory (Entra) Cloud and on-premises Identity & Access Management technologies Federated Identity Management Privilege Access Management Endpoint Privilege Management Public Key Infrastructure Collaborating across IT departments to integrate Enterprise IDAM solutions with on-premises applications as well as Software as a Service (SaaS) and other cloud platforms. Providing input on cybersecurity initiatives and assist with policy development. Providing subject matter expertise and training to operational teams, as needed. Ensuring overall IDAM system health Contributing to threat hunting and incident response, as necessary

What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements for Level II: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study, or equivalent experience 3 years of relevant experience Solid knowledge of common IDAM technical principles, theories, concepts, and tools Prior hands-on experience with IDAM solutions Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including information security and authentication solutions Ability to translate organizational goals and objectives into actionable implementation plans Working knowledge of Windows & Linux operating systems. Ability to quickly learn new or existing technology This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Minimum Requirements for Level III: Same requirements as level II noted above, in addition to 5 years of experience

How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have one or more of these: Prior experience maintaining IDAM and Information security technologies such: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Privileged Access Management, Endpoint Security, Federated Authentication using SAML or OpenID Connect Experience with NIST SP 800-171 Experience implementing large-scale solutions across unique enterprise infrastructures Experience maturing pre-existing environments and transitioning them over to appropriate teams Seeks opportunities for process improvement, recommends improvements and contributes to solutions. Programming skills for task automation Experience with enterprise-level syst ms design and development from business requirements analysis through day-to-day management
