Mechanical Design Engineer (Level II) - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 24-00153 Salary Range: $69K - $92K Permanent Position with Benefits. Solon Area Company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer. Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer: Electro-Mechanical product design using 3D CAD tools. Create Bill of Materials. Provide technical assistance to sales, customer service, and client as needed. Develop an environment of continual improvement using Agile and Lean tools. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering • Must have five (5) years' experience/knowledge of mechanical aspects of applied RF designs. • Must have experience designing parts and assemblies for RF/electronic devices using 3D CAD. • Must have experience with 3D CAD and data management tools (Solid Edge, SE Design Manager, and ERP) • Must have experience with BOM's, GD&T, Tolerances, and surface finish. • Must have experience with the following mechanical design techniques: (electronic assemblies, sheet metal fabrication, machined parts, injection-molded, etc.) • Must have rapid prototyping techniques for machining, forming, and injection molding. • Must have experience with the root cause and corrective action. • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written) • Must be very detailed oriented. • Must have good organizational skills.
