REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 06/08/2024-08/15/2024. Must agree to work Mon-Thurs, 7 hours per day, Fri- Sat, 6 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 1 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 75 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling.

 JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. The worker will perform job duties as assigned by the supervisor. They will vary from time to time depending on crop and weather. The farm work is temporary and will last from June to August. Field Work- During the contract, the worker will prepare the fields for planting and maintain the fields once the plants have been planted. This will consist of putting down and taking off the ground cloth, digging trenches, installing and repairing irrigation, planting, weeding seed corn production fields with a hoe, removing rocks and volunteer corn/rouging, detasseling, bagging, seed conditioning, harvesting, husking, sorting and drying seed, and other miscellaneous work. A properly licensed worker will be required to transport workers to and from work each day. A properly trained worker will assist in operating various farm equipment to assist with farm labor. A qualified worker may be requested to be a working team leader. Equipment and Vehicle Operation-The workers may need to drive and/or operate various agricultural farm equipment and vehicles to perform the work on the farm such as field trucks, tractors, and forklifts.
