Staff Accountant-Bank Reconciliation

Mandarich Law Group, LLP is a leading debt collection law firm with offices located in multiple states. We are looking for great people to bring their passion and strong work ethic to the job. We currently have an opening for a Staff Accountant - Bank Reconciliation Specialist.

This a full-time position Monday through Friday. In-office.

Interested applicants: We require a completed employment applicant and resume.

What You'll Do:

  • Knowledge of basics - making accounting journal entries (debits and credits)

  • Cash deposits and cash transfer entries

  • Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Enter invoices from vendors into the accounting system and other systems

  • Credit card reconciliation

  • Some payroll experience

  • Monitor client accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Familiar with A/R.

  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

  • Provide supporting documentation for audits

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • Complete ad-hoc analysis requests quickly while maintaining integrity and accuracy of data

    What You'll Need:

  • Either obtained or seeking an Accounting degree or has equivalent job experience

  • Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks

  • Attention to detail

  • Confidentiality

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office. Highly skilled in using Excel; vlook-up, sumif and pivot functions

  • Ability to meet deadlines and willingness to work overtime when necessary

  • Preferred: Minimum one to three years of experience in Accounting

  • Preferred: Bachelor-s Degree or higher
