Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role mainly involves leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions with a focus on .NET technologies. The successful candidate will also oversee the development and maintenance of both front-end and back-end components of applications using various technologies. This contract role will be hybrid on site near Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Please apply today if interested!

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers on ongoing projects to ensure the quality and reliability of proprietary software products

• Apply technical expertise in .NET development, proficient in both front-end and back-end development

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders

• Oversee the design and architecture of scalable and maintainable solutions for web applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards

• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of applications using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL Server

• Manage the development team by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, conducting code reviews

• Utilize experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js and Micro Frontends architecture

• Oversee the use of various skills such as Apache Struts, Backend Development, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS

Requirements • Proficiency in Apache Struts

• Experience in Backend Development

• Strong knowledge of C++ programming language

• Familiarity with Database design and management

• Understanding of EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in AB Testing techniques

• Experience with Ajax development

• Skill in API Development

• Knowledge of ASP.NET framework
