The Role:

The HR Generalist, Heidrick Digital & Corporate will work closely with the respective HR team on the execution and delivery of human resources programs and services supporting two of Heidrick & Struggles service lines--Heidrick Digital and Corporate functions. The HR Generalist will also team with other human resources leaders on enterprise programs, policies and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HRBPs to enhance their ability to deliver strategic and consultative client services. Provide support across various HR functions, such as recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, immigration, relocation, and talent management.
  • Manage the offboarding process for employees, including communicating departure information, conducting exit interviews, and analyzing feedback as needed.
  • Assist employees with policies, procedures, and concerns, managing employee relations issues and developing performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Supervise Workday transactions for employees, liaising with HR Coordinators to communicate transaction requests and track approvals.
  • Support the recruitment process for designated service lines, including creating and obtaining approvals for job requisitions, issuing offer letters, and assisting with background checks.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and collaborate closely with hiring managers during the onboarding and integration phases.
  • Aid the HRBP in administering the performance management program, including organizing year-end calibration meetings, salary planning, and bonus administration.
  • Assist the HRBP in managing the annual promotion process.
  • Work in partnership with the benefits team to manage employee leaves of absence effectively.
  • Utilize Workday reporting and support data analysis requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree required.
  • Mini um of three years\' experience in Human Resources, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performing, and client focused environment.
  • Proven understanding of core HR business practices, processes, and terminology and knowledge of local employment laws.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing sensitive information with a high degree of responsibility and sensitivity.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Some experience with HRIS platforms.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional client service, whether within the organization or externally.
  • Deep understanding, natural inclination, and profound appreciation for the significance of fostering trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Comfortable and adept at managing shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exceptional communication skills encompassing listening, speaking, and writing.

Proficiency in understanding the business and its complexities, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively using business terminology.
